The end of October is the time when in Germany the clocks are turned back for one hour. On that day there is an hour more sleep but also a shorter afternoon with the sun starting to set at 5pm already. I don't like this tradition of manipulating the clock but I noticed that the light on this day has something special - the sun light already has this wintery mood while autumn is setting up for its grand finale!
These photographs are so beautiful, Nancy! Oh wow! 💛

ReplyDeleteThe colours, wow! I didn't used to like changing the clocks either but now I treasure that extra sunlight in the morning because of it, its a worthy sacrifice for a darker evening I think.
ReplyDeleteYes, that's definitely an advantage!
DeleteMy fav colour too, oh yes. <3 Beautiful dear!
