It was late afternoon when we decided to walk up to Arthur's Seat, a place where you have a fantastic view over Edinburgh and into the Scottish landscape. The light was almost surreal and as the time went by everything turned from yellow into red.
We decided that one day we have to go back to Edinburgh, bring more time and walk up this hill again, taking a bottle of wine and watch the night coming over the city.
Yes, indeed, the light was amazing... together with the moving clouds it made for the most spectacular view over the old, dark stone buildings of Edinburgh.
Turquoise blue sky and purple green landscapes! This is stunning stunning stunning. The silhouettes of the last two photographs are gorgeous too. Very beautiful pictures.
Thank you, Niken! I'm happy you like it! Yes, it is a wonderful view, just as if they built the city exactly there for the view from the hill. Or the other way around ;)
What a beautiful vista! And that light... wow!
