analogue friday - summer vibes

July 22, 2016

Long time no analogue friday! But now I finally managed to get another roll developed! Come with me and get some summer vibes!

saying goodbye to Norderney... always a bit sad...

But then... Berlin... ♥

summer evenings ...

A relaxed friday afternoon walk with Esther - her blog has been on my reading list since the beginning! It's great! If you want, hop over to her via: http://inside-my-shell.blogspot.de

The following picture was not taken by me but by my camera. The strap on which she was hanging around my neck snapped and with a bang - that hurts the ears of everyone, who loves cameras - it bounced on the paving! And took this picture!

I didn't know if everything was alright - the exterior had some scratches but nothing serious. So I kept on photographing with her. And since the next picture was also the next on the roll, I think she's fine ;)

The same thing happened yesterday again with my Mamiya C330 (I'll never trust analogue camera straps again!)... I hope she's fine, but the roll is not yet full and developed. I'll keep you posted...

Fleamarket: selling some of my pictures :)

And, yes, this is Berlin, too:

My favourite of the roll - I bet it confuses you, too, ... ;) :

analogue friday - on the road

April 15, 2016

I shot this film during the last weeks, which involved a lot of travelling and sleeping in hotels (due to appartment construction works) ...  the pictures were made in Berlin, Brandenburg and Norderney, the far north. The film was a Kodak Farbwelt 200 and I'm not sure if I like the outcome very much. For my taste it's a bit too muddy and dull when it comes to colours. But it was March, the winter not quite gone, the spring yet to come. Maybe it wasn't the films fault... :)

analogue friday // throwback to France

April 01, 2016

Since I'm on holiday at the moment, and it is a bit more complicated here to develop a roll of film than it is in Berlin, this week I show you some analogue ones from a holiday in France some years ago. I think I already showed them to you, but I think it always is a good idea to dig up some gems hiding in the archives and I love these here especially.

I took them with a Revue Flex - a very reliable friend for analogue pictures.

So, come with me to the beautiful south of France, the Côte d'Azur and a bit of Lyon, too.

Greetings from Norderney

analogue friday - into Berlin's suburbs

March 25, 2016

With the roll of this film (Kodak Ektar 100, one of my favourites) I take you into the Berlin suburbs, to the end of the underground line U7. It is very contrary to the last posts on my blog here, that rather showed the beauty and strength of nature. I definitely am not a fan of these "concrete parks", these remains of the 60s and 70s, when brutalism architecture was widely considered as a good idea to live in. However, I cannot deny that I'm also fascinated by this plain, faceless mightiness and strange beauty of these buildings.

Have a nice weekend and if you celebrate it: Happy Easter!
